How do you "Adapt-ify"?
To Adaptify is to recognize deeply our planetary crisis and respond in thoughtful and intention ways that maximizes long-term prospects in the face of challenges, transmuting those challenges into a new form of a thriving life. The word is a combination of climate adaptation and transformation, since success for ourselves and the wider world will only come through living and relating in profoundly new ways.
Why the "U"?
The "U" unites 3 critical elements for a personal transformation journey. First off, it stands for yoU, the person taking full responsibility for your future. It also stands for University, a place of accelerated growth and commitment to learning. And lastly it honours Theory U, a profoundly impactful book by Otto Scharmer on developing eco-centric societies through open minds, open hearts, and open will.

People working with me clearly want to build a climate and eco secure future for themselves, the pinnacle of this wheel. That is absolutely a vital goal, but to really do it well and create a real multi-generational legacy for your family and community, a more holistic and deeper model of transformation is necessary.
The wheel does not offer a quick fix, or simple 7 step process, but rather maps the inner and outer terrain for thriving now and into the future. Although there are no silver bullets, and no real "solutions" to the current unravelling, there are absolutely better ways of living and being that can help us, our community, and the wider living world. This model is one of them; a code for bridging the more beautiful future we want to create. It does not claim to be the only way to make this happen, but humbly puts together a holistic model built atop the shoulders of giants. It combines the best of climate futurism, eco-awakening, sustainability and resilient living, integrated together into a new model for living a fulfilling life and how to enact it for individuals.
